The Neanthe Bella Palm, otherwise known as a Parlor Palm, is a bushy, more compact palm than most varieties. Often staying smaller than many other palms, this slow-growing plant prefers moist conditions and is much more tolerant of moderate to low light conditions; bright direct sunlight can actually scorch the delicate leaflets of this variety.
An extremely versatile plant, smaller sizes of this palm work well on a desktop, in a green wall, or mixed with blooming or trailing plants in a bowl. In larger sizes, the Neanthe Bella Palm makes an excellent floor plant for an office or reception area.
